Description

Coffee & Crepe Crawl

Did someone say free coffee and free food?

This Blue Week the Health and Wellbeing Practitioner Team as well as the UMMSS Community & Wellbeing Team are bringing you the opportunity to relax, socialise and prioritise your wellbeing over a free coffee and free crepe/snack item. We will have you 'crawling' around campus, getting those endorphins pumping around your body, followed by the reward of free food and drinks! You will be split into small groups and invited to walk around campus to various vendors in small groups of students. There really is nothing more wholesome than sharing snacks with your new friends!

This event is open to all students and we encourage students from MD2-4 to also attend the event if they are available.

The event will last for approximately 1 hour and will run at the following times:

  • Tuesday 13th September 10am
  • Tuesday 13th September 11am
  • Tuesday 13th September 2pm
  • Wednesday 14th September 10am
  • Wednesday 14th September 11am
  • Friday 16th September 11am
  • Friday 16th September 3pm

Please select one time that suits you, depending when you may be at the Parkville campus.

If you have dietary requirements, please indicate this when ordering your ticket. This event is limited to Melbourne Medical School Students only and all attendees will require to be UMMSS members.

If you have further questions please get in touch otherwise we will see you there!

Information about Blue Week 22: 𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗦𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴

Getting through med school isn’t easy. We are unfortunately prone to encounter burnout, social isolation, and other mental health issues along this journey. Despite this - whether it’s due to shame, fear of negative impacts to our careers, or other factors - we’re often reluctant to reach out for help when the black dog strikes. To raise awareness for and normalise the conversation around medical students’ mental health, UMMSS is proud to present Blue Week - an annual week-long program of activities aimed at promoting social connection and wellbeing
