Black Dog Ride - Townsville Multisport World Championships

For the first time ever Multisport World Championships is coming to Australia and Black Dog Ride is going to be part of it!!

 Black Dog Ride has agreed to provide motorcycles Support for the upcoming Townsville Multisport World Championships event to be held in Townsville:

• Friday 16th – Sprint & Elite Duathlons
• Sunday 18th – Standard and Para Duathlons
• Saturday 24th – Townsville Tri Fest
• Sunday 25th – Long Distance Triathlon & AquaBike

We are seeking volunteer 'Moto Riders' to help provide transportation of officials during this event. This is an Official Fundraising Event for Black Dog Ride: IRONMAN has made a generous donation on your behalf to help in Black Dog Ride's mission to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention.

Volunteers will be required to take event personnel as pillion passengers around the various segments of this year's course – giving riders a rare opportunity to ride beautiful roads under closed road conditions in a controlled environment.

  • Multisport World Championships – first time ever hosted in Australia & Southern Hemisphere.
  • 12 days – 19 World Championship races
  • Bringing 3000+ from international athletes from 50 countries, plus family and friends to Townsville
• Course descriptions                          
  • The Strand and Pallarenda Roads for all days.
  • Sunday 25th features an inner city race course that winds through the CBD and uses the V8 circuit – then can talk about the closed road conditions environment
