Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grants Applicant Support Workshop - Grafton, 11 August

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

This workshop will introduce the Australian Government's Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grants Program, give an overview of the guidelines and cover tips on how to write good grant applications. Many different types of projects are eligible for support through this grants program – but they must be about the recovery and/or resilience of communities impacted by the 2019-20 Black Summer bushfires.

  • Applications are sought from all communities in eligible Local Government Areas. These grants are not only for councils and large businesses.  We want to see ideas from different groups and people about support for your community.
  • The workshops are aimed at helping you understand the grant guidelines and criteria and the application process to make sure you are putting forward the best version of your proposal.
  • The workshops will be conducted by ThinkPlace on behalf of the National Recovery and Resilience Agency.
  • The workshop is for information only.  You will need to take the time to read and understand the grant guidelines, grant application form and any addenda issued when preparing your application.
  • The workshops will not have someone available to write your application, and ThinkPlace staff can’t comment on what a good or bad project might be. Attending the workshops does not mean that your application is guaranteed to be successful.

Time: 10:00am

Duration: 2 hours

Please note that dates and locations may change due to COVID-19 restrictions and venue availability. In the event the workshop cannot be held in person, alternative arrangements will be made such as potentially providing the workshop online. Registered attendees will receive notifications of changes via email.
