BLAK OUT  FIRST NATIONS STORIES AND IDEAS
Story Week: Common-Unity

A celebration of blak excellence, Blak Out showcases established and emerging Aboriginal artists, exploring their own stories and experiences within the national arts landscape.   

Challenging deficit narratives, Blak Out explores what it means to be excellent. More specifically, what Blak excellence looks like within the colony and how we as First Nations artists and performers can uphold our cultural obligations to carve out and hold space for new voices outside the norm.

Performance, panel and conversation – stay for the whole session or feel welcome to drop-in.
