Blind and Low Vision Community Tea with Sarah Houbolt
Event description
Australian Centre for Contemporary Art’s current exhibition, Tina Stefanou: You Can’t See Speed, attends to the interconnected and multisensory experience of film beyond vision. The exhibition expands Greek-Australian artist Tina Stefanou’s methodology of deep, long-term, co-creative collaboration and socially engaged practice. The exhibition centres a collaborative new film commission with blind motorcycle mechanic and rider Matthew Cassar.
ACCA is pleased to host a community tea for members of the blind and low vision community to coincide with Tina Stefanou: You Can’t See Speed. The afternoon tea will be facilitated by Sarah Houbolt, and will be held on Saturday 24 May at 1:30-2:30pm. This informal event is a chance for the blind and low-vision community to come together in a safe space. This event is free to attend, and catering will be provided. Please contact us at programs@acca.melbourne if you have questions or specific access requirements. Please RSVP via the link provided.
