Feeling stuck? Feeling anxious? Can’t sleep? Unsettled?
Often the root cause is in long-held emotions, stress, and unresolved trauma, sometimes going back as far as childhood.
Have you heard of the fight, flight, or freeze response? Our nervous systems become dysregulated and sometimes our body holds onto things long after a stressful event has passed.
When this happens, the nervous system stays on high alert. We feel unsettled or agitated in this state. Physical tension, chronic stress, and emotional holding patterns can also deepen over time, it can feel like the body and mind are moving through life separately.
Leaving us feeling disconnected from life.
Slow, mindful breathing calms the nervous system and helps anchor you in your body, helping us to let go of what we no longer need.
Simple breathwork techniques help open up the energetic pathways of the body and release held emotions/tension.
This practice may bring a sense of lightness and calm, though it can also stir up deeper emotions. Both are part of the healing process.
We hold onto tension/emotions that are no longer needed, sometimes this stops us from living our life to the fullest.
