Join local printmaker Hannah Parker in a 3 hour workshop where participants will learn simple carving and design techniques.

During this exciting and fun workshop participants will carve two small 10cm x 10cm blocks and print their designs onto fabric. With these new skills and techniques, participants will be able to continue printing at home without complex equipment.

HANNAH PARKER

Hannah Parker is a Cairns based artist and printmaker. She is an established artist and exhibits her work in solo and group exhibitions regularly. Hannah facilitates textile workshops and collaborates with artists, in remote and local communities.

PROVIDED MATERIALS

Carving blocks – 2 per person
Carving tools
Rollers
Fabric printing ink
2m piece of lightweight fabric – 1 per person

Limited places available (8 participants max)

This workshop suits Ages 18 and over, unless accompanied by an adult.
