Blood and Metal VI: Novice Powerlifting

Welcome to Blood and Metal VI, Below Parallel’s 3rd 3-lift novice comp of 2025.
Anyone is welcome to enter and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female lifters decided by bodyweight formula. No softsuit required and entry for spectators is free. Previous winners can compete, but cannot win. Positions are subject to meet director's discretion.

Weigh in and rack/pin heights will be on the morning of the competition, between 7:30 and 8:30, or the Saturday morning (the day before) between 8am and 12pm.

Warm up begins at 8:30am, lifting begins for flight A at 9:30am

Please submit openers in the week prior to the last week before the comp.

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts" - Every lifter that has ever bombed squats. 

-Rules and calls are as per traditional raw powerlifting, sleeves only (wraps may be worn but the lifter will be unable to compete for prizes).

-Shoes must be worn, deadlift socks must be worn and a t-shirt must be worn for squats and bench press. There are no restrictions on belts or wrist wraps.
