Bloom into your creative self in this one-day Nia dance retreat.
The retreat will be held in the picturesque town of Wagstaffe, overlooking Brisbane Water on the Central Coast.Â
Northern Beaches Nia teachers Mandy, Mel and Danielle will welcome you for a day of dance, meditation, creativity and nourishment.

Getting there
Ferry from Palm Beach ($14.70 single ticket, not included in retreat cost) with Palm Beach ferries.  Meet at the wharf at
845am. Ferry departs 9am.Â
Arrival at Wagstaffe 9.20am. The hall is a 1-minute walk from the ferry wharf.Â
Alternatively drive to Wagstaffe on the Central Coast  - parking is available outside the hall.Â
Parking at Palm BeachÂ
Parking is limited and gets extremely busy in summer so allow extra time to ensure you don’t miss the ferry! To make it the most relaxing day possible, we advise you to come early, have a coffee and enjoy the beautiful view of Pittwater.Â
There is a Council Car park adjacent to the Palm Beach ferry wharf. On-street along Barrenjoey Road or Iluka Road is free. Find out more about parking at Palm Beach here.
Getting home
The retreat finishes at 2.20pm. We will take the 2.30pm ferry, arriving back at Palm Beach at 2.55pm.

I've never done Nia before. Is this retreat for me?
Yes! A Nia dance class is very welcoming to beginners.Â

I'm not sure I'm fit enough - will we be dancing all day?
No, we will ensure the retreat is paced so there are times of rest and relaxation. Chairs will be available inside so you can rest at any time and rejoin when you're ready. As we say in Nia, 'follow your body's way'.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable clothes to move in (with layers); bring a cushion to sit on, and a water bottle. Yoga mat is optional for the meditation session.Â
Do you cater for gluten free and/or vegetarian?
Yes, but please let us know in advance.

What if the ferry is cancelled due to high winds or bad weather?
We will advise you by text prior to the event and reschedule if possible or, you can request a refund.
