Additional Info

WHEN/WHERE:

April 24 & 25, 2027 from 12-5 pm at the Expo Hall at Doubletree (870 Williston Rd.) in Burlington, VT. Limited VIP Early Buying Hour opens at 11am.

TICKETS:

Tickets to this event are non-refundable, but you can give them to a friend if you are unable to attend. Simply forward your tickets to another person via email. Screenshots work, too - so long as we can see the QR code at check-in. We cannot change the date or time slot of your ticket.

Please note that while this is a two-day event, your ticket is good for entry on one day only, and you must select a ticket date at time of purchase. You won't be able to enter earlier than your ticket entry time, but you are welcome to enter later than your ticket time.

All ticket holders will receive a drink ticket that can be redeemed on-site for a single small beer or cocktail pour, non-alcoholic drink, or coffee from one of our sponsors!

SHOPPING/FORMS OF PAYMENT:

Vendors will have a large selection of carefully selected goods at varying price points. Most vendors take cash, cards, and cash apps, but there is no ATM on site. We recommend bringing your reusable tote bag!

ACCESSIBILITY:

Doubletree and this event are accessible to those with mobility aids, though the event does get busy and may be crowded. If you use a mobility aid, please look for our security team so that they can direct you to enter the venue and wait in a reserved seating area until it is time to enter the event.

WEATHER:

This event is held indoors and will take place rain or shine. There may be a short wait to get in, which we will work through quickly, but plan to be outside for a bit and dress accordingly just in case!

OMG, A BOOK SWAP!:

Bring your pre-loved books to the Bloom Flower & Home Little Free Library table and swap them out with our pre-loved books! Our book swap is free, open to all, and is located right behind the check-in desk. Please, no religious texts, encyclopedias, or text books.

DRINKING:

Bring your ID if you plan on having delicious cocktails and beer at our bar! We card at the door. Coffee, mocktails, and other non-alcoholic beverages will be available, too. We recommend bringing your reusable water bottle, as the venue has several water bottle filling stations.

PETS & ANIMALS:

We love our strangely behaved rescue dogs and cats, but this event is not pet friendly. Please leave your pets at home. This includes pets in carriers, strollers, and bags. Emotional Support and Therapy animals are unfortunately not allowed per our insurance, but service animals specifically trained to provide assistance are welcome.

KIDS:

Children under 4 are welcome to attend at no cost, but anyone 4 years of age and older requires a ticket for entry. Strollers are welcome, but please be careful of our vendors and other attendees, as this event does get busy. Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.

PARKING:

Parking is free and plentiful in Doubletree's on-site parking lot. There are many handicap parking spots available. Please do not park in a handicap spot unless you have the legal right to do so - we will have you towed.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR JERK BEHAVIOR

We have a zero tolerance policy for bad behavior at our events. If you're rude or demonstrate harassing, racist, or oppressive behavior to our staff, venue staff, vendors, or other attendees, you will be removed immediately and without a refund. We're hosting a fun plant party, for crying out loud - let's have a good time!

NOTICE OF FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY:

Our events are documented by professional photographers and videographers, as well as local media and members of the press. By attending Bloom Flower & Home, you are entering an area where filming and photography occur. By attending this event, you understand that you may be photographed, filmed, or videotaped and you hereby give Bloom Flower & Home the unqualified right to take pictures and/or recordings of you and grant the perpetual right to use your likeness, image photo (collectively, “image”), without compensation, for broadcast or exhibition in any medium and to put the finished pictures/recordings to any legitimate use without limitation or reservation. You hereby waive, release and forever discharge Bloom Flower & Home from and against any and all claims or actions arising out of or resulting from any use of your image.

In the event that Bloom needs to be rescheduled due to COVID-19 or any other reason, tickets will not be refunded and will be valid for a rescheduled date in the future.

FAQs

  • What is Bloom Flower & Home Market?

Bloom is a big fun plant party held annually (indoors!) in Providence, Rhode Island and Burlington, Vermont.

We are a community market style event, featuring 85+ small businesses, not a flower & garden show. You’ll find plants, fresh and dried floral arrangements, home decor, art, apothecary products, and more.

Bloom has pop-up restaurants on site, as well as a full bar, featuring fun cocktails, mocktails, and beer.

  • What time can I enter the event?

Bloom is held over two days, with multiple entry times on each day.

Please arrive on the correct day, for the time slot you purchased tickets for. Your tickets have a date and entry time that you chose. Please look at your actual tickets for this info before planning your arrival.

We cannot allow you in earlier than your ticket states, but you are welcome to arrive at your ticket time or later, and stay as long as you like. The event ends at 5 pm both days.

  • Will tickets sell out, or can I buy them at the door?

Tickets for Bloom have almost always sold out in advance - there’s a lot of plant lovers out there, and a sell out is always a possibility! We recommend buying tickets in advance if you want to attend. Keep an eye on social media for the most up to date ticket sale info.

Tickets will NOT be available at the door for any session that has sold out in advance.

  • Can I switch my ticket for a different day or time slot?

No, we cannot switch your tickets for another day or time slot. If you arrive on the wrong day or at the wrong time, we unfortunately cannot let you in. We are held to a capacity per our agreement with the venue, and we cannot overbook the room. Our vendors work hard to prepare for this event, and they plan for a certain number of attendees to be present each day. Vendors would not be able to plan for a successful event if we constantly altered tickets.

  • Do I need to print my tickets? How do I check in?

Printing is not necessary, but you can print your tickets if you want.

We must be able to see the unique QR code on each ticket so that we can scan it. You can save a screen shot on your phone, print your tickets, or save them to Apple wallet (make sure you send each ticket to your wallet!).

If you bought multiple tickets and are sending them to other people, please be sure you are sending everyone a unique ticket. Tickets may look the same, but they each have unique QR code.

  • Help! I can't find my tickets!

Tickets are sent via email form Humanitix immediately after purchase. Check your spam folder if you can’t locate them!

Don’t panic if you still can’t find them - a ticket link and event details will be sent out again the day before the event.

We can look up your tickets at the door, too - but the name on your tickets will need to match the name on your ID. We can’t look up tickets that are not in your name - so if a friend bought your ticket, be sure you have the QR code!

  • I bought a ticket but can't attend. Can I have a refund? Can I give my ticket away?

As stated on the ticket sales page at the time of purchase, tickets to our events are non-refundable. You are welcome to sell or give them away - just be sure to provide the recipient with the unique QR code on EACH ticket.

  • I bought a ticket online from a reseller. Can you check to see if it is valid?

Unfortunately, we can never guarantee that tickets bought on the re-sale market are valid. Ticket purchasers receive tickets via email from Humanitix with QR codes that are specific to each ticket. When you buy from resellers, you may be buying tickets that have already been sold, or re-sold, more than once. QR codes will only work one time at check-in, and if you arrive and find that the QR code on your ticket has already been used, we unfortunately will not be able to let you in. Due to capacity restrictions, we cannot make any exceptions. We recommend buying your tickets early, and directly from our website.

  • Where should I park?

Onsite parking is free and plentiful at the venue, in Doubletree’s parking lot. Handicap spaces are right out front. It goes without saying - please do not park in a handicap spot unless you have the legal authority to do so. We will have you towed.

  • What if the weather is bad?

This event is held indoors (with an occasional food truck popping up outdoors!) and will take place rain or shine. There may be a short wait to get in, which we will work through quickly, but plan to be outside for a few minutes and dress accordingly just in case!

  • Is the event handicap accessible?

Doubletree is a fully accessible venue with handicap parking outside the front entrance. Bloom is an accessible event and mobility aids are welcome. Please use caution, as the venue does get crowded. If you are a user of mobility aids, please let our staff know if you need a place to sit while you are in line.

  • Is this event kid-friendly?

Yes, Bloom is for all ages! Anyone age 4 and older requires a ticket for entry. Strollers are welcome, but please use caution, as the room gets crowded and you will be responsible for any damage caused to vendor displays. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

  • Is this event animal/pet friendly?

Unfortunately, our insurance does not allow us to have animals at the event in either city, so please leave yours at home.

Service dogs that are trained to work or perform a task for persons with disabilities are welcome. Comfort, therapy, and emotional support animals are not service animals and are not recognized by the ADA, and are not allowed, per our insurance regulations and venue restrictions.

  • Is there seating at this event?

There is very limited seating in the lobby of the event as well as various seating areas throughout Doubletree.

  • Is there a coat or bag check?

While there is not a coat check, there may be an unattended coat rack in the lobby of the venue. Bloom & Doubletree are not responsible for any loss that may occur.

  • What's up with the Bloom Book Swap?!

Bring your gently used books of all kinds and swap them at the table right behind the check-in. Don’t have a book to leave? Take one anyway! Please, no religious texts, encyclopedias, or text books.

  • How can I stay up to date about event info and ticket sales?

Sign up for the newsletter, via the tiny form at the bottom of bloomflowerandhome.com.

  • Do vendors accept cards? Is there an ATM on site?

All vendors are different, and most accept cash, cards, and cash app payments. There is no ATM on site.

  • Is there a bar at Bloom? Food?

Yes! We’ll have a bar with cocktails, mocktails, beer, and more. If you’re planning on drinking alcohol, bring a valid ID.

Doubletree's restaurants will be on site with food available as well.

  • What if I'm a mean jerk at the event?

Bye! We have a zero tolerance policy for rudeness to our staff, the venue staff, our security team, our vendors, and other attendees. We will remove you from the event immediately and without a refund, so please just don't. We’re here to host a fun party, and we want everyone to have a good time!
