BLS-CPR; AED; Stop The Bleed

American Heart Association Basic Life Saving (BLS) Course teaches:

• High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

• The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components

• Important early use of an AED

• Effective ventilations using a barrier device

• Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR

• Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants

Comes with a valid AHA BLS Card that is good for 2 years, and is the most widely accepted CPR card across any profession.

Also included is a Stop the Bleed course, which includes a Stop the Bleed Certificate from the American College of Surgeons. 

Stop the Bleed courses train the public to save lives through three basic actions to stop life-threatening bleeding following everyday emergencies and man-made and natural disasters. Advances made by military medicine and research in hemorrhage control during the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have informed the work of this initiative which exemplifies translation of knowledge back to the homeland to the benefit of the general public.
