Blue Lotus Tea Ceremony

The Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is a beautiful, water-dwelling flower sacred to the Ancient Egyptians. It was the tea of choice for Cleopatra, the last pharaoh of Egypt and legendary Queen of the Nile.

Revered for its calming and spiritual properties, and linked to ancient practices of meditation, and ceremony,  the Blue Lotus Flower is thought to enhance intuition and inner wisdom as well as moving stagnant emotional energies, and being a tool for introspection, and contemplation.

Known for its relaxing properties, it has many other known benefits such as improving cognitive function, mood regulation, sleep quality, digestion, and skin health, anti-inflammatory and aphrodisiac properties. 

Whether you'd like to connect to how this plant medicine can support you physically, emotionally or spiritually, or experience it in the context of conscious ceremony. Or whether you're just curious to come and sit together with others in a safe, non judgmental space to relax and connect, you're invited to come sit around the fire, in the energies of the full moon for a shared experience of connection & calm.  

This event is suitable for all of the above as well as those who are interested in the concept of women’s and men’s circles, meditation, emotional regulation, shadow-work and community building. This event welcomes both women and men. 

Not suitable for children, pregnancy, breastfeeding or those taking antidepressants, antipsychotics, or medications for diabetes, high blood pressure or blood clotting disorders.

Where

A private address in the Glades Byford. Details will be provided on purchase of ticket. 
Held in a sheltered outdoor area around a fire, spaces are limited to ensure a personalized and intimate experience.

What to expect

• Partaking in the drinking of pure organic blue lotus tea, a gently flavoured tea made from the flowers of the blue lotus plant

Standard - $25 (For those who are safe and secure with their income)

Community concession - $15 (For those who find it a bit more tough out there at the moment. No questions asked)
