Blue Mountains Edible Garden Trail 2025
Event description
The Blue Mountains Edible Garden Trail is a vibrant celebration of how local residents are growing food at home - strengthening food security, saving money, reducing environmental impact, and enjoying the health benefits of fresh, homegrown produce.
Over the weekend of the 25th & 26th of October 2025, backyard growers from across the Blue Mountains - from small plots to large gardens - will open their spaces to the public. Visitors are invited to explore, learn, and be inspired by the many ways our community is embracing homegrown sustainability.
This is a community-run, not-for-profit event, proudly organised by The Blue Mountains Food Co-op, with all proceeds supporting local school and community gardens.
The Trail takes place on Darug and Gundungurra Country. We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Blue Mountains and honour their deep and enduring connection to land, waters, and culture. We strive to care for country and build community with this long, rich history in mind. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded — always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
