River City Voices (RCV) is honoured to be the Ensemble in Residence for the esteemed Ngarra-burria: First Peoples Composers program, marking a historic collaboration. This remarkable union brings together the sheer power of a 50+ voice choir with the visionary talents of composers: Marlene Cummins, Gavi Duncan, Tim Gray, Nicole Smede, program founder Dr Chris Sainsbury, and Elizabeth Sheppard, a program alumna.

'Blue Sky Country Christmas' is a highlight of RCV's Brave series, an initiative dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. In this instance, the spotlight shines on the Indigenous composers, whose creativity challenges the norms of the classical music sphere.
