Sunday 1 November 7:00 am – Sunday 1 November 11:00 am
📍 Meet at the end of the carpark at Woodman Point that terminates directly at the Woodman Point Fishing Spot*, with parking available at the end of Woodman Point - keep driving past the Jervoise Bay Sailing Club and you'll arrive at the carpark.
*Please note - this is not the Woodman Point Ammo Jetty (which is also a place for fishing).
We will explore the rock groyne, adjacent seagrass meadows and enjoy the start of seagrass flowering and fruiting season. You'll learn all about the seagrass of Derbal Nara - Cockburn Sound and why restoration efforts for the snapper and seagrass of the Sound in the area have kicked off in the past decade.
BYO freedive gear, your certification*, towel, water bottle, breakfast treats to share, a flask of coffee or some fruit or snacks to share for after the dive!
Freedive Gear Hire is $85 per set. Contact us at least 3 days before the freedive session via email once registered if you need to hire gear.
