Blues & Brews
Event description
Lightnin Jack
WA born and bred Lightnin’ Jack has been indulging in his love of blues music since he was knee-high to a grasshopper and is a rare commodity within the music scene, renowned for his raw bluesy slide playing and husky voice. Growing up on a solid diet of southern rock and true blue home bred Aussie bands in a home where music and instruments were a major part of everyday life.
Tracey Barnett
Bridgetown is Western Australia's spiritual home of blues and roots, so it is no surprise that resident singer-songwriter Tracey Barnett has that music in her soul. Fusing traditional blues and country elements with modern rock rhythms, Barnett's music has taken her across Australia, earning her a WAM Award, chart success, and airtime on Triple J, ABC and community radio.
