Blues in the Vine - Blues & Slow Swing Workshop & social

We’re so excited to see Blues coming back to Sydney - so by popular demand, we’re running another 3 hour intermediate Blues and Slow Swing workshop with Jo and Andy. And if that’s not enough to get you excited, there’s a social with a live band, Bonnie Kay and Carolyn Packer!
WORKSHOP: These classes will be aimed at Intermediate and above level dancers, so if you have some Blues experience or are an intermediate level Swing dancer, this class should be perfect for you.
SOCIAL: Bonnie Kay and Carolyn Packer are stalwarts of the Australian blues and jazz scene, having played rollicking Blues and sweet Jazz at more than 15 Blues and Jazz festivals around Australia and internationally. They are guaranteed to keep the dance floor jumping, and our DJs will play a mix of slow Swing and jazzy Ballroomin’ style Blues for those who like to take it slow.
(Sadly, previously advertised Moondog has had to withdraw from the event.)

Tickets & pricing: You can buy tickets for both the Workshop and Social for $85 (saving $5), or Workshop Only costs $55, and Social Only is $35.
Dancers booking for Workshop PLUS Social Dance will automatically receive a $5 discount. Dancers booking a Pair Pass PLUS 2 Social dance tix will automatically receive a discount.

Workshop schedule:
1.00pm: Doors open
1.15pm: Class 1 - Ballroomin' Blues
2.15: Break
2.30pm: Class 2 - Slow Swing
3.30pm: Break
3.45pm: Class 3 - Jukin' Blues
4.45: Finish

Social schedule:
7.30pm: Doors open
8.00pm: Band's first set
11.30pm: Home time
