Event description

Blushing

An IN THE RAW Season presented by Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre
Directed by Indiah Morris

A CHARGE OF CELLS. A RUSH OF HEAT. SKIN AGAINST SKIN.

Blushing is a loving exploration of physical intimacy, in all shapes and forms, dissecting the intricacies of human connection through touch. At a time when distance is the norm, and touch almost a radical act in a post-pandemic world, Blushing offers a journey through our bodies’ evolving relationship to touch as we grow and navigate the ever-increasing complexities of physical contact.

In bold colour and high-energy movement, Blushing reminds us of a world that celebrates skin on skin.

For over a decade Zen Zen Zo has finished each year with an IN THE RAW show as a ritual conclusion to the year that has been. Join us on Saturday 30 November at sunset to celebrate the end of 2024!

BLUSHING is part of Zen Zen Zo’s annual IN THE RAW Season, in which the company returns to its experimental roots to create new work in non-traditional theatre spaces. Past IN THE RAW shows (including Rebirth, The Tempest, Zeitgeist, Dracula, Sub-Con Warrior 1 & Those with Lucifer) have sold out, so early booking is advised.
