Come and hear our guest presenter, Troy Trewin, multiple business owner and business podcasting extraordinaire, who will share what it is going to take small business to be successful in 2025 and beyond. The challenges, advantages and opportunities that is specific to our island economy.

A little about Troy...

Troy’s passion is helping other owners grow their small business with ease, and live the lifestyle they signed up for.

Since late 1999, Troy has started or acquired and grown 15 small businesses with 30 business partners in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom in technology, alcohol (beer, whisky, gin and vodka), retail, ecommerce, accommodation, food, online education, social enterprise and construction.

Currently Troy Chairs three of the five Boards he sits on and provides coaching to a handful of CEOs and founders of interesting, fast-growing businesses in various sectors. The areas of expertise he brings to a business and Board include strategy, management, technology and finance.

In 2004 Troy founded the Grow A Small Business community, which has a weekly business podcast (600+ episodes, and in the top 30,000 or 1% of all 3m podcasts).

Troy recently launched the 'Business Transformation Program', which helps busy owners live the lifestyle they signed up for. He hosts monthly meet-ups of business owners in Hobart and Launceston, Australia.

In 1996 he graduated with a Bachelor in Business (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Computing, then worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a SAP Security & Controls consultant for 3 years.
