You are invited to a Theatre Dinner featuring the critically acclaimed and wildly popular BOB THE RAILWAY DOG! Bob was smash hit at the Adelaide Fringe and is about to embark on a regional tour.
Railway Bob brings to life a bygone age of Adelaide and Outback SA and the world’s best ever dog story. Its a magical show with great songs, lively theatre & beautiful puppetry telling the true story of SA’s Celebrity Dog ‘Railway Bob -He travelled on the trains of Australia ‘just like a person’.
Railway Bob was written by actor, musician and multicultural arts worker Keith Preston. It will star Keith Preston and actor, musician and visual artist Deborah Baldassi, and of course Bob the Railway Dog. Bob will be assisted by puppeteer Uma Preston.
Bob the Railway Dog will be hosted by the unique HOPES CAFE, which has been providing work, training, community and food to refugees, the homeless, migrants and anyone else who needs help since 2014. The THEATRE DINNER commences at 6.00pm.
Hopes Cafe also offers plentiful and convenient FREE PARKING.
The themed dinner inspired, but not limited, by railway food of the era. The event is presented by Stray Mongrel Productions, a scrappy little expediter of community, creativity and kindness.
