Body Manipulation

Body Manipulation is the use of someone’s own body mechanics against them to accomplish your own devious desires. Often used to bring a sharp and intentional inflection point into a scene and to assert physical dominance, body manipulation presents techniques that are quite impactful while minimizing effort to accomplish.

This workshop explores joint locks, body weight and leverage, walking through each concept and providing you with useful examples to add to your toolkit. Both Tops and Bottoms are encouraged to join us in this class to explore the body, the way that it works and how these mechanics work within a scene.

Using his experience as both an impact and bondage switch and general chaos goblin, Sasori will guide this class through several exercises whilst providing considerations specific to each scenario to help students maximize their  enjoyment of this type of play. Further, Bee will provide her own unique insight as a bottom, walking through the impact each technique has, what considerations she has for each position and what self care techniques she utilizes prior to, within and after a scene.

This workshop will include:

• A primer on body manipulation, including demonstrations of moves that can be applied directly into your scenes
• Safety, consent and risk considerations when engaging in play with this type of kink
• Hands-on work, focused on a slow and intentional introduction to the elements of body manipulation and body mechanics
• Participant Q&A where you can ask questions specific to your play style, size dynamic and restrictions. 

This class is an introductory class for anyone with an interest in body manipulation, with no technical prerequisites, however for practical elements it is encouraged that you come as pairs to practice with.

• Best described as a reaction fetishist, chaos gremlin and sadomasochistic switch, Sasori has spent his kink journey exploring the various means upon which he can elicit yelps, moans, giggles and screams from those he plays with. Initially trained in his home country of Australia, Sasori moved abroad for 8 years engaging various scenes across the US and Europe. As a product of his travels he expanded his repertoire with formal education and a plethora of diverse intensives; the result is a style that emphasizes connection, calculated risk, and jovial sadism within a chaotic and lighthearted package.

• Bee has been an active member of the Melbourne community for over 2 years. Their interests range over various sadomasochist activities which include impact play, needle play, kinbaku and more. Following their passion in supporting community and advocacy for kink education, they have begun demo bottoming for both performance and education, hoping to help build a stronger community through their efforts.
