Body Project Australia Online Facilitator Training (May 2023)
Event description
Body Project Australia is a group-based early intervention program that targets body image concerns in young women aged 14-18 years. This six week online workshop provides the knowledge and skills to deliver the four-week program in your community.
The online workshop is appropriate for teachers and school wellbeing staff, youth workers, community workers, health and fitness professionals and anyone else working with young people. The workshop adopts experiential learning as the main training tool. Workshop participants get the opportunity to participate as both program facilitators and participants as we work through each session of the four-week program. The cost of the workshop includes the facilitator manual and resources.

WHEN: Commences May 1st, 2023 (AEST)
Session 1: Monday, May 1st - 10am to 12pm
Session 2: Monday, May 8th - 10am to 12pm
Session3: Monday, May 15th - 10am to 12pm
Session 4: Monday, May 22nd - 10am to 12pm
Session 5: Monday, May 29th - 10am to 12pm
Optional session 6: Monday, June 5th - 10am to 11am
WHERE: Delivered online via Zoom. Please note this is for Victorian residents only.
COST: $416.00 (incl GST)
