Enjoy an unforgettable evening of culture, connection and community, featuring a three course Indigenous inspired dining experience, live entertainment from The Jacks Band, inspiring student stories, and the opportunity to bid on a range of live and silent auction items.

Bond University has welcomed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students since its first student cohort in 1989. The opening of the Nyombil Indigenous Support Centre in 2012 marked a significant milestone in strengthening that commitment. Since then, 199 Indigenous students have graduated, 148 scholarships have been awarded, and Bond University has invested more than $6 million in Indigenous education.

Each year, Bond University awards at least eight Indigenous tuition scholarships, together with bursaries that assist students relocating to live on campus.

For many students, becoming the first in their family to attend university is life changing, creating opportunities that extend to their families and communities. Kumai Karulbo is Bond University's signature fundraising event, helping provide scholarships, resources and support that empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to pursue a tertiary education.
