One year on. We remember. We honour. We stand together.

On 14 December 2026, we will mark one year since the tragedy that forever changed Bondi.

We remember the precious lives lost, honour those whose lives were forever changed, and recognise the extraordinary courage, compassion and humanity that emerged in the darkest of moments.

In the days that followed, something powerful happened.

Neighbours embraced strangers. Flowers filled our streets. Local businesses opened their hearts. People of every faith, culture and background stood shoulder to shoulder in solidarity.

Bondi showed us what community truly means.

One year on, we are planning to come together at Bondi Beach, the place where our community grieved, supported one another and began to heal.

This commemoration belongs to everyone.

To the families and friends carrying unimaginable loss. To the survivors and first responders. To the local residents, businesses and countless people who stood together.

Different backgrounds. Different faiths. One community.

We invite you to be part of Bondi Remembers: One Year On.

This is our community. This is our moment to remember. We invite everyone, of every faith and background, to stand together at Bondi.
