2 Hour Bonsai Workshop - King Tide Brewing, Coffs Harbour
Bonsai and Brews is a fun, easygoing workshop to share with friends or family, where you leave with a great story (and your own bonsai tree).
This beginner-friendly 2 hour workshop gets you hands-on from the start. Bonsai master Mason guides you through potting, shaping, and wiring a bonsai, drawing on 30 years of experience and plenty of humour to keep things relaxed.
No experience needed, if you can hold a pair of scissors, you’ll be just fine.
Grab your drink of choice, settle in, and enjoy two hours of practical learning that never feels like a class. You’ll head home with your own bonsai, a clear understanding of how to care for it, and the confidence to keep it growing long after the event.

- Can two people share one tree/ticket?
No. Our events are ticketed per person, not per tree, so everyone attending must have a ticket. This is because space is limited and we need to be able to sell tickets for every seat we have available. Thank you for understanding.

King Tide Brewing does not have on-site parking.
There is ample street parking nearby, along with a free 24-hour parking complex within a short walk of the venue.Good options include:
Street parking around Studio Lane, Vernon Street and the surrounding CBD.

The brewery is tucked away in Studio Lane, just off the Pacific Highway in the heart of the Coffs Harbour CBD, making it an easy walk from most central accommodation, shops and offices.
Taxi & Rideshare
Uber and local taxis operate throughout Coffs Harbour and are often the easiest option if you’re planning to enjoy the brewery’s craft beer selection. The CBD location makes pick-up and drop-off straightforward.
Public Transport
King Tide Brewing is located within the Coffs Harbour city centre, with regional bus services stopping throughout the CBD. From the main bus stops, it’s only a short walk to Studio Lane.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled event to get checked in.
