Event description

So many people we meet would love to own a bonsai but are concerned they don’t know how to care for it, or have owned a bonsai plant and it perished. Those people will love this short, focused and fun class on “How Not To Kill Your Bonsai”.

The class will be presented by Sebastian Ryder, a bonsai artist specialising in Australian natives. Classic Japanese bonsai will also be catered for in the class.

Learn how to care for a bonsai, including tips on light, watering, soil, pruning and shaping, fertilising and which species are easiest to raise.
