Boo Fest Halloween Market

Visit Boo Fest, Australia's latest artist market celebrating alt artists from Naarm/Melbourne and across Australia.

Join us for our first Halloween Market on Sunday 27th October 2024 at Welcome to Thornbury in Northcote VIC Australia.

Connect and celebrate Halloween with others who live the alt lifestyle and love the spookiest time of the year. Find things beyond the “conventional” for stimulation and dress in your Halloween best (or just for Sunday comfort).

We have gathered together 60 vendors selling jewellery, leather accessories, rubber and kink accessories, masks, head and hair pieces, original art and prints, art toys, dioramas, stickers, puppets, pottery and ceramic sculptures, entomology artworks, gothic candles and homewares, cat toys and treats, even some creepy tasty snacks and much much more!

The Venue - Welcome to Thornbury

Whether you come early or stay late, Welcome to Thornbury has a bar, beer garden, food trucks, and Australia’s biggest licensed arcade for you to make your visit to Boo Fest a great day out. While Boo Fest officially closes at 4pm, Welcome to Thornbury will be kicking on til 8pm. 

The venue is also accessible for wheelchairs and dog-friendly.

The first 200 tickets sold will also come with an exclusive gift which you will be able to claim at Boo Fest.

Tickets are $9 + fees, and kids under 13 are free!

Entrance Times

Please try to arrive as close to your entrance time as possible. But don't worry, you will still be admitted even if you are late! You can stay as long as you need to (well, until the event ends that is), we recommend allowing 90-120 minutes to enjoy Boo Fest.

Please note that 12:30pm to 1:30pm is the Boo Fest QUIET witching hour. No music, lowered voices, and chill vibes, for those needing a low/reduced sensory environment. Please consider another entry time if this is not you.

Can I use cash?

Not all stallholders will have cash, so please bring your debit, credit cards, or digital payment devices.

Can I bring children?

You can bring children along (so long as you are their parent or guardian and over 18 yourself), even to the pub, but they must be kept within arm's reach at all times. Please note that some of the items sold by our vendors may not be suitable for humans under 18, so please keep that in mind.

Can I bring my dog?

We love dogs! But please keep them on a leash and should they have a little accident, we just ask that you clean up after them and notify our staff should you need cleaning products or help.

Will there be food or drinks for sale?

Welcome to Thornbury is a bar and beer garden, with a handful of food trucks. We encourage you to enjoy their hospitality and offerings before and after visiting the market.
