To support the Central Coast’s development, the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has released a plan for the region’s urban growth and biodiversity. The Plan will directly support around 14,000 new residential lots and 30,000 new jobs, and the Central Coast’s unique environment over the next 30 years.  

The draft plan is on public exhibition from Tuesday 30 September to 5pm Tuesday 11 November 2025, and the feedback we receive will help shape the final Plan.
