This is the first of two book discussions hosted by Mel Butcher on Multipliers, by Liz Wiseman. This first session will cover chapters 1-5, and the second (several weeks later) will cover chapters 6-9.

You'll recall our 3-part leadership definition - "Leadership is using the greatness in you to achieve and sustain extraordinary outcomes by engaging the greatness in others." At its core, this book is about engaging the greatness in others.

Mel Butcher is an activator for women's career advancement. Mel also dedicates time to supporting early-career engineers in job-hunting and learning the foundations of strategic networking, a crucial part of long-term career success. Mel holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering. She specializes in serving industrial clients for water, sustainability, and risk management.
