Book Launch with Anne Marie (Ani) Ross
Event description
We are thrilled to be hosting the inaugural book launch for The Politics of Environmental Education Centres – People, Power and Pedagogies by Anne Marie (Ani) Ross.
The book traces the centres’ journeys through the phenomenon of the 1970’s growth in socially conscious governance, to 1980s-1990s public managerialism, to the tightening tentacles of capitalism.
This book will appeal to teachers, academics, bureaucrats and community interested in the history and politics of environmental education. It is an essential important history which needed to be told.
Please join us to celebrate the birth of Ani’s book.
This event is free but RSVPs are essential. Doors open 5:30pm for 6pm start.
