Event description
Come along and say hola as we celebrate the launch of beautifully written and illustrated children's story Colombian Heart and Australian Soul in Green Square!
Highlighting the importance of bicultural ties and cultural diversity, Colombian Heart and Australian Soul is inspired by the journey of a Colombian family who made Australia their home, celebrates the rich cultural heritage of both nations. Through vibrant storytelling and illustrations by renowned Colombian artist Andrés González, and written by the ACD’s Co-Founder and Chair, César Álvarez, the book explores themes of diversity, multiculturalism, and the connections between the two nations, offering young readers an engaging and bilingual educational experience.
