Event description

ENOUGH: How One Woman’s Truth Became a Roadmap for Change

In collaboration with Amplify Black Women

About the Event
Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the launch of ENOUGH, the fearless new memoir by award-winning author, researcher, and hair justice advocate Gloria Tabi. This is more than a book launch - it’s a celebration of truth-telling, healing, entrepreneurship, and representation.

Why You Should Attend

  • Be part of a rare and powerful moment: a Black woman author taking centre stage to own her narrative.

  • Hear Gloria’s courageous story of overcoming hair discrimination and the shame it planted.

  • Connect with a community passionate about identity, leadership, and change-making.

  • Leave inspired to embrace your own truth and live unapologetically in your power.

About the Book
ENOUGH asks: what does it mean to live in a world that tells you you’re both too much and not enough? At its heart is one Black woman’s journey through the pain of hair discrimination and the deep shame it planted.

For years, Gloria Tabi perfected the art of “performing perfection.” But the day she removed the wig, she uncovered a truth more powerful than appearance - she had always been enough. Through raw storytelling and powerful reflections from other women, ENOUGH exposes the cultural and social forces that diminish us and offers a liberating roadmap for anyone ready to stop performing and start living in their power.

About Gloria Tabi
Gloria is an award-winning local author, researcher, fashion model, hair justice advocate, and founder of Enable Women Africa: #InspiringHairFreedom. She is the recipient of the 2024 Legendary Award (African Australians NSW) and the 2022 Social Justice Award (Nelson Mandela Day Australia). Her leadership is heart-driven, her message uncompromising, and her impact lasting.
