Book Launch! Facing the Mirror with Rose Rye
Event description
Join local author and coach Rose Rye to celebrate the release of her new book, Facing the Mirror.
What do you see when you look in the mirror? Is it the real you – or the version you’ve been told
to play?
In Facing the Mirror, Rose Rye shares a raw and uplifting journey of self-reflection, resilience
and transformation. From growing up in a proud Māori family to navigating hardship, faith,
business challenges, and personal battles, Rose invites you to pause, breathe and take an
honest look at the person staring back at you.
Through powerful stories, practical reflections and journal prompts woven throughout, this book
will help you:
● Break free from limiting beliefs and negative self-talk
● Understand what is holding you back
● Discover strength in vulnerability and hope in hardship
● Learn to let go, breathe deeply and step into courage
● Reclaim your voice and define your purpose
Whether you’re standing at a crossroads, carrying the weight of the past or simply ready for a
fresh start, Facing the Mirror offers the tools and encouragement to choose a new reflection –
one filled with mana (strength), tūmanako (hope) and āheinga (possibility).
It’s time to be brave enough to look. And when you do, you may just see the person
you’ve been waiting for all along
