Book Launch in London: Work Backwards at x+why People's Mission Hall
Event description
For the last few years Tim Duggan has been obsessed with a very big question: how can we fix work?
We spend around a third of our lives working, but almost every indicator we have for the health of how we are working is flashing amber right now. Too many of us are overworked, disengaged and apprehensive about what’s around the corner.
The way we are working is not working because we are approaching work and life in the wrong direction, and we need to radically rethink it, one person at a time. This is the big idea he explores in his new book, Work Backwards, as he charts a path through the noise around the future of work, to show how anyone can learn how to work smarter and live better.
This January, Tim will be heading to x+why spaces across the UK to share the findings of his years-long research project with the aim of giving members a better understanding of how you can take advantage of this once-in-a-generations moment to rethink their approach to work and life.
This book launch event is from 12:30pm to 1:30pm and includes lunch. Tickets are £10 / AUD$20, with the option of pre-purchasing a signed and personalised copy of Work Backwards for £15 / AUD$30 that will be waiting for you on the day.
