Event description

Come along and become part of Luna's world as we celebrate the launch of this brand-new illustrated diary series written by Hayley Gannon. Luna's World #1: Library Dreams, an exciting, relatable diary-style junior fiction series perfect for readers looking to bridge the chasm between graphic novels and proper novels.

Luna Merrian has BIG dreams.

This year, Luna is desperate to become a library monitor. AKA a Little Librarian! The only problem? Her school enemy: Jade Jones.

There can only be ONE Little Librarian from their class, and Luna has three chances to prove that she's the best person for the job. But the contest between Luna and Jade reveals parts of Luna that she's not proud of ...

Will Luna ever achieve her library dream?

Hayley Gannon is a teacher librarian working in Canberra. She adores children's literature and is an advocate for getting quality books into kids' hands. She loves writing about real family and school life so that readers can see themselves in books. When she's not writing, Hayley delights in enthusiastic read-alouds, watching re-runs of 90s sitcoms and discovering there is a café inside a bookshop. She is regular guest on the popular podcast Reading with a Chance of Tacos. The Luna's World series will be Hayley's first published books.
