About the Author

Ebony is an Adelaide based entrepreneur, mother of two, and now against all odds a published author. As a dyslexic individual who spent much of her life avoiding reading and writing, her perspective shifted at 30 when she successfully launched her messy play business, Sensory Magic with Ebony. This newfound self-belief gave her a fresh understanding of what she was truly capable of and the courage to return to writing her book.

Her world was turned upside down when her second child was born requiring 24/7 oxygen and a feeding tube. Years later, looking back on that emotional rollercoaster and wanting to walk a mile in the shoes of other parents riding that same wave, Ebony decided to write the exact book she had desperately searched for but could never find during those hospital stays.

Tears, Tubes and Triumphs was born from that raw vulnerability. By sharing her own experiences she is making sure no other parent ever feels alone in their struggles, her goal is for each partner to feel seen, heard and supported.
