Bring a book you love and that you’re ready to set free, and join us for a cosy afternoon of good books, good conversation and a little something sweet.

We’ll be settling in at Leigh’s with a hot drink and sweet treat, or a non-alcoholic drink from Society De La Rassi, before settling into a couple of hours of swapping, chatting and meeting fellow book lovers.

There’s no assigned reading, no homework and no set discussion points (unless you’re keen). Just a casual afternoon to share favourites, swap stories and hopefully leave with a few new reads for your TBR.

How it works:

Bring along a book you love, one you’re ready to pass on and in return, take home someone else’s.

You might discover your next favourite book, find a recommendation you’d never have picked yourself, or simply meet some new people who love to read.

Whether you’re a page-turning regular, an occasional reader or just after a wholesome Saturday afternoon.
