How it works: Bring your pre-loved books and clothes, and take home some new-to-you treasures from others. All proceeds from the event directly supports Euraba Paper, a renown Indigenous (Gomeroi) art collective.
Clothes should be in a condition you’d be willing to pass on to a friend. We’re heading into summer, but all seasons and styles are welcome. Books of any genre are welcome too - bring something you've loved and are ready to pass on.
After visiting Toomelah and Boggabilla during Stand Up’s Derech Eretz program, our Trailblazers have decided to use the event as a platform to raise funds for Euraba Artists and Papermakers, an art collective making handmade paper and founded by nine senior Gomeroi women.
When: Sunday 18 October, 11.00 am - 1.00 pm
Where: Inner-city (address provided to ticket holders closer to the date)
Food & drinks: Tea, coffee, and refreshments provided
Cost: $5 with all proceeds go to Euraba Paper Company
Bring: 3-5 items to swap. Anything left at the end will be donated to our friends in Toomelah and Boggabilla.

About Euraba Artists and Papermakers
Euraba Artists and Papermakers was founded by the Gomeroi people of Toomelah and Boggabilla in 1998 with the goal to build Indigenous skills and artistic creativity for a sustainable future within our own community.
They make handmade paper from cotton rags by combining European papermaking techniques with their Indigenous sensibilities. Euraba Artists and Papermakers won the NSW Aboriginal Art Prize in 2010 and their work and paper has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Moree Regional Art Centre and at the Sydney Biennale.
This event is organised by the 2025 cohort of the Stand Up x Shalom Collective Trailblazer Retreat, made possible through the JCA Social Justice Fund.
