About the author

Sammy Barnett is a clinical nutritionist, speaker and mum who has lived with anxiety and panic disorder since childhood. After years of pushing through burnout, mum guilt and even organ failure, she finally stopped running and began listening to her body - physically, nutritionally, emotionally, and spiritually. From that turning point, her life took off. Recognised as a Jamie Oliver Food Hero Awards runner-up, Sammy now speaks on stages across Australia, bringing her trademark blend of science, humour and entertainment to inspire changes in schools, councils and communities. Her debut book, Anxiety The Best Teacher You Never Asked For captures that journey of transforming anxiety into a superpower that creates a positive lasting change in ourselves and the world around us.
