Boolambayte Re-Wilding Project

Join us at the Boolambayte Re-Wilding Project and learn about how Geoff and Louise have altered the land management strategies on this flood prone landscape to support local native flora and fauna.
We will be welcoming our members, NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust conservation agreement-holders and staff from MidCoast2Tops Landcare onto the Boolambayte property of Louise and Geoff. This property on Worimi Country is home to TEC - Swamp Sclerophyll Forest on Floodplain, various ground orchids and other features of local conservation significance.
We look forward to you joining us for a half day field trip to learn from Steve Lucas (Newcastle University) about integrated water cycle management, water systems process and simulation, soil chemistry, environmental management.
Melanie Ledgett (Boomerang Environmental) will show us over recent revegetation works and discuss the problem of Setaria in restoring agricultural landscapes.
