Boots and Bling Benefit
Event description
Bring your Boots and Bling to this gorgeous venue, enjoy a delicious meal, an inspiring program and quality entertainment from Brendon Walmsley and the Walmsley Brothers.
Award winning talent in their own right, Brendon, Nathan and Jared Walmsley combine to create an exceptional musical experience. Having now performed together for over 30 years from outback rodeos to Australia’s major country music festivals, The Walmsley Brothers have established themselves as a dynamic presence on Australia’s musical landscape.
Born in Bundaberg, then growing up in the small south-western Queensland town of Roma, their love of music was evident from a young age. From family get-togethers to church choirs and school musicals, the brothers soon discovered their passion for performing.
It wasn’t long before Brendon, Nathan and Jared were recognised by the country music community with major wins in talent search competitions including the Queensland Champion of Champions, Tamworth, Charters Towers and Gympie’s National Country Music Muster.
After winning the Toyota Star Maker award in Tamworth, Brendon began to forge an impressive solo musical career, which still often involved Nathan and Jared in the band as they toured across the country.
One of our finest singer songwriters, and winner of 3 Golden Guitar awards, Brendon honed and developed his music over three critically acclaimed and successful albums - A Little Time, Never Say Never and Bottle Tree Lane. He has also released a "Best of" album containing his most awarded and requested songs. Brendon has recently returned the studio and will be releasing his 4th studio album in 2025.
Brendon’s songs are not just catchy tunes. They are perceptive stories about the joys and struggles of life; the importance of love and family; and the strength that comes through faith.
Nathan and Jared have also pursued individual music interests having performed and played alongside some of the top names in Australian country music. They regularly perform across southern Queensland with various bands and for many years were long term members of the National Country Music Muster Talent Search backing band “Killin’ Time”.
With all three of the brothers now married and raising families of their own, they still relish every opportunity to make music together.
Nibblies, dinner and dessert included. Mocktails available to purchase throughout the evening.
An opportunity to support Eva’s Place Kingaroy financially will be given on the night
