Borderline Funny - Desi Stand-up comedy open mic!

Borderline Funny is Adelaide’s multilingual open mic comedy night, bringing together performers and audiences across Hindi, Urdu, English, Punjabi, and everything in between.

Expect new jokes, true stories, chaotic crowd work, cultural confusion, and the kind of humour that does not always translate perfectly, but somehow still lands. Whether you grew up on Bollywood, Pakistani dramas, Punjabi family functions, Aussie banter, or all of the above, this is a night for anyone who enjoys comedy beyond borders.

This is an open mic, which means you will see a mix of first-time performers, regular comics, and brave people testing brand-new material. Some jokes will be polished. Some will be risky. Some may only make sense to half the room. That is part of the fun.
