Boroondara Bioblitz: Krefft’s Glider Hollow Checks - 5 pm to 6 pm

Help us collect valuable data for the Great Southern BioBlitz 2026! Join us as we check our hollows for signs of our resident Krefft’s gliders.

We will be on hand to help you spot, learn about, and record your sightings, as we focus on the amazing gliders that call Boroondara home!

Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for an outdoor walk along uneven ground and be prepared for the weather.

Please note:

·        Staff will access the hollows with cameras on poles. Participants will assist with viewing hollows from camera screens and data collection.

·        There will be no handling of wildlife during the hollow checks.

·        Participants will be required to remain on the paths as requested by Council staff.

We encourage you to download the free iNaturalist app prior to the event so that you can record your sightings and contribute data to this global citizen science challenge, but this is not essential. For more information on using the app see How to Make an Observation : iNaturalist Help

Please place one order per attendee.
