Each session highlights useful items you can borrow from the Waverton branch and teaches practical, beginner-friendly skills to help you save money, reduce waste and build confidence. Learn how to make the most of what’s available to borrow rather than buy.

This Workshop: A Beginner’s Guide to Pressure Washers

Wondering how to tackle built-up grime, dirt and mould without spending hours scrubbing? This hands-on workshop will show you how to safely and effectively use a high pressure washer for jobs around the home. Learn how to set up and operate the equipment, choose the right pressure and nozzle, and tackle common jobs such as cleaning paths, patios, outdoor furniture and driveways. We’ll also cover important safety tips and common mistakes to avoid, so you can confidently borrow a pressure washer from The Sydney Library of Things and get stuck into those satisfying cleaning jobs!

Whether you’re completely new to pressure washers or have a project in mind, this beginner-friendly workshop will help you build the confidence to get cleaning.

As the most borrowed item from The Sydney Library of Things, pressure washers are a great example of a tool that makes sense to borrow rather than buy.
