After an incredible launch in 2026, the BOSS Circle Leadership Retreat is back for 2027 — this time in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Created exclusively for swim school owners, this two-day retreat is your opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, reset and reconnect with what matters most as a leader and business owner.
Join a small group of fellow owners in one of the world’s most spectacular destinations for big conversations, fresh thinking and genuine connection away from the pool deck and the distractions of everyday business.
A highlight of the retreat will be a facilitated leadership experience with Darren Shand, who spent more than two decades helping shape the culture and high-performance environment of the legendary New Zealand All Blacks.
The rest? Intentionally simple.
Owner-to-owner conversations. Shared experiences. Time to think. Space to reset.

SUNDAY - KJet Boat Ride - Optional
Get ready for an epic 60-minute Queenstown Jet boat ride across three waterways travelling at speeds of up to 95kph in the fastest and meanest Jet boats in town. Blast across Lake Wakatipu and down the world-famous Kawarau and Shotover Rivers with 45km of unforgettable thrills, 360° spins and adrenaline in one of the world’s most stunning locations.

SUNDAY - Central Otago Wine Tour - Optional
Join us for a private wine tour through the stunning Central Otago region. Sit back, take in the spectacular scenery and enjoy a selection of some of the region’s finest local wines. Your experience includes hosted wine tastings, transport and a platter-style lunch, all included in your ticket price.

- Who is the retreat for?
This retreat is designed for swim school owners and operators. It’s aimed at people responsible for decision-making, leadership, and long-term direction within their business.
- Is this a conference or training course?
No. This is a small-group leadership retreat. The focus is on thinking space, peer conversation, and leadership perspective rather than content delivery or technical training.
- How many people will attend?
Places are capped and strictly limited. This is intentional to protect the quality of conversation and the overall experience.
- What’s included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes two nights accommodation at Rendezvous in Queenstown, all meals & planned activities from Sunday night through to Tuesday afternoon and two facilitated days.
- What is the optional activity?
The optional activity is a chance to experience a little more of Queenstown and Central Otago with your fellow BOSS Circle attendees — with two experiences to choose from.
For the thrill seekers, kick things off with a KJet Boat ride, combining a little adrenaline with the opportunity to take in Queenstown’s spectacular scenery from the water.
From there, continue on to our Central Otago Winery Tour, which includes transport, a platter-style lunch and hosted tastings at selected local wineries.
Not keen on the adrenaline rush? No problem! You can skip the KJet experience and meet the group in time to board the bus for the winery tour.
Both activities are entirely optional and can be selected during registration, so you can choose to join us for KJet + the Winery Tour, the Winery Tour only, or neither — whatever suits you!
- When is the optional activity?
The optional activities will take place on Sunday, 14 March, ahead of the official BOSS Circle Leadership Retreat welcome dinner.
For those joining the KJet Boat ride, the experience will depart from Main Town Pier at 10:45am and finish at K Jet Marina at approximately 12:00pm.
If you’re continuing on to the Central Otago Winery Tour, the tour bus will be waiting at the KJet finish location to collect you.
Joining us for the winery tour only? No problem! Simply make your own way to K Jet Marina by 12:00pm, ready to board the winery tour bus.
The winery tour will return to the Rendezvous Hotel at approximately 6:00pm, giving you time to freshen up before the Welcome Dinner at 7:00pm.
- Do I need to attend everything?
No. While we encourage full participation, this is a retreat. Some time is intentionally unstructured, and attendees are welcome to step away when needed.
