Event description

Our guest expert presenter this month - Liz Hurst of Well Written

Even if you don't want to sell your business (yet!) having great systems and processes well documented will make your life easier and the business more saleable and more valuable.

Liz will share her process for developing an operations manual. This process helps the owner and team members get greater clarity on everything that happens in the business. From this, better delegation and accountability frees the owner up to work more ON the business.

When the time comes to sell the business, a good operations manual will help you to demonstrate your business operations and provide potential new owners with assurance that they can continue your business’s success.

In this interactive session, Liz will look at how to get started, useful sources of information and tips for getting your knowledge written down.

ACTION CHANGES THINGS

Are you exposing yourself to new inputs and new situations, and challenging yourself to find more interesting ideas?

Are you pushing the ideas you have further, making them more complete, turning them from hunches to notions to ideas to theories?

Business Owners Taking Action members are confidential groups of 'non competing' motivated business owners supporting each other to achieve greater success in business and life. Members meet once per month to review the performance of their own business and assist fellow members to review and develop theirs.

All this in a support group of like-minded and positive business owners.

Members also get monthly one on one sessions with me, John Denton as their accountability partner, to work on their specific goals and challenges.

If you are a business owner and you are serious about working ON your business, register for this event to attend a complimentary BOTA group meeting and have a follow up business review with John Denton.
