Join us and circular fashion advocate Nina Gbor, Eco Styles, for an informative and thought provoking event, with a stylish twist.

Hosted on Zoom, this one-hour session for councils will cover:

  • What a bottom-up community engagement and education strategy is and why it’s important.
  • Insights from WRAP UK’s Love your Clothes, a campaign that aims to change the way people use, buy and dispose of their clothing.
  • Practical tips on how to implement your own community-driven approach to the transition.
  • An eco-styling demo with Nina Gbor, Eco Styles, where you'll learn how to style one dress in five different ways to look stylish and reduce clothing waste to landfill.

Meet the presenters:

Claire Kneller is the executive director of WRAP Asia Pacific, heading the office from Adelaide, South Australia.

She leads on the development and delivery of all of WRAP’s work in the region, specialising in policy and strategy support, collaborative agreements between public, private and third sectors, and citizen behaviour change. Claire has delivered sustainability and circular economy projects and programs across the world, ranging from $2,000 to over $10M for partners such as Apple and the United Nations.

The founder of Eco Styles, Nina Gbor is an award-winning sustainability advocate, ethical fashion speaker, climate activist, writer and educator.

She coined the phrase ‘get off the fashion trendmill’ which means individuality and self-knowledge should be the premise for consuming clothing, not fashion trends. Nina has a master’s degree in International Development and is a former sustainable fashion tutor at RMIT University, Melbourne.
