Bounce Forward: What Comes After the Election? Resilience & Recovery As You Find Your Next Step
Have you run for election in the last 12 months? Whether you were elected or not, this masterclass is for you. Running is winning, and every election campaign leaves an impact. This practical session focuses on what comes next, helping you reflect on your experience, recover your energy, recognise what you've gained and take your next step with confidence.
Politics can be challenging. Whether you're adjusting to the realities of elected office, reflecting on a campaign that didn't result in election, or simply processing the highs and lows of putting yourself out there, the experience can leave you with a lot of mixed feelings.
Building resilience and knowing how to recover from an election campaign are essential skills for women seeking to make a difference in politics.
In this practical one-hour masterclass, we'll explore how to recover from the demands of an election campaign, make sense of your experience and develop the resilience to reflect, recover and feel confident about your next step.
You'll walk away with:
A greater understanding of resilience and election recovery, and why both matter regardless of the election outcome
Practical strategies to manage disappointment, overwhelm and the emotional demands that can follow a campaign
Ways to reflect on your experience, recognise what you've gained and bounce forward without losing sight of yourself or your purpose
Greater clarity and confidence to decide what comes next for you
Whether you've recently run for election or are still working through an earlier campaign experience, this session will help you reflect, recalibrate and move forward with confidence.
