Are you a student in a vocational degree passionate about supporting others?
Join this online event combining evidence-based self-care strategies with the lived experience of those working in the Social Work & Psychology field. Learn how to place effective boundaries to support your wellbeing as you embark on your challenging and important career.
This event is presented by the Social Work Student Association in partnership with PsychSoc. Students from any program are welcome to attend.
Meet the Speakers
Renee Griffin
Renee is a Mental Health Social Worker who has social work experience in diverse locations from South India to Alice Springs. Renee currently occupies a leadership position in the Psychology and Wellness counselling space at UNSW and maintains a small private practice.
Roisin Trainor
Roisin is Mental Health Promotions Coordinator at UNSW and coordinates mental health literacy training across the university as well as providing support to the Student Minds program. Roisin is also completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology.
