Description
This full-day, skills-based workshop introduces the key concepts and practices of Single Session Family Consultation (SSFC) and supports participants to apply these ideas within their own work context.
SSFC is a structured, family-inclusive approach that brings together a clinician, client, and family members in a single therapeutic conversation focused on addressing a specific question, concern, or dilemma.
Participants will have opportunities to discuss real-world applications, ask questions about the model and its use in different contexts, and consider strategies for integrating SSFC into their existing practice.

It is particularly suitable for those working in individually oriented services for adults and young people (such as mental health and alcohol and drug services) where working with families is not the primary focus.
